Progressives still have the option for reconciliation in which the majority will set the agenda for health care reform with 51 votes.And 5 democrats and 40 republicans will be disgraced in the annals of history. and I can already hear the screams of the republicans decrying the very same tactics that they used to fund the Iraq war with Supplemental spending bills.There about to get a big dose of their own medicine

In one respect Mr Obama you have done a great service for the majority of the progressive movement. By destroying your base,you have RENERGIZED it.You may have given up the fight but we haven't.Your going to see a a movement arise from the ashes of your campaign at the grass roots level that will fight back and if need be go to war with the neanderthals of the republican right.
